How do I open a store?

Overview

Opening a store on Javern takes a few minutes — sign up as a seller, fill in your store basics, and you're ready to add products.

Steps

1. Download the Javern Vendor app and sign up as a seller — selling isn't available on the main Javern website or main shopping app yet. See How do I become a seller?.
2. Pick a store name — see How do I choose a store name?.
3. Upload a logo and cover photo — see How do I upload my logo? and How do I upload a banner?.
4. Write a short store description — see How do I write a store description?.
5. Add store policies (returns, shipping, warranty) — see How do I add store policies?.
6. Set up your shipping options — see How do I set shipping rules?.
7. Add your first products — see How do I add a product?.
8. Verify your BVN to activate payouts — see How do I verify my BVN?.

Go live

Once your store has products and shipping options, mark it active in your dashboard and you're ready to receive orders.
