This Cookie Policy explains how Javern Fashion uses cookies and similar technologies on javern.com. Our mobile apps use device identifiers and local storage rather than browser cookies, but the same principles apply.

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information about you between visits. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and mobile device identifiers.
2. Cookies we use
- Strictly necessary — sign-in sessions, security tokens, cart contents, checkout state. Without these the Services don't work.
- Functional — remember your preferences (language, region, saved sort/filter choices).
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use javern.com so we can fix bugs and improve pages. Aggregated, not tied to your identity.
- Push notification tokens — in the mobile apps, used to deliver order and campaign notifications.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies to track you across the web.
3. Who sets them
- First-party — set by javern.com directly, for the purposes above.
- Third-party — set by services we use, including:
- Paystack — for secure checkout and payment sessions.
- Analytics providers — to measure how the site is used.
- Firebase — for push notifications and (in the apps) chat.
4. How to control cookies
You can:
- Manage your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site (you won't be able to sign in or check out).
- Clear your browser data — removes existing cookies. You'll be signed out and cart contents will be lost.
- Turn off push notifications — in your device settings or the app's notification settings.
5. How long cookies last
- Session cookies — deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — stay until they expire or you delete them. Most Javern persistent cookies expire within 12 months.
