How do discount codes work?

Overview

Discount codes on Javern are the same thing as coupons — codes you type at checkout to get money off. Each code is created by a specific store and only works on that store's cart.

How to use one

1. Add items to a store's cart and open it.
2. Tap "Checkout".
3. Enter the discount code in the "Discount code" field.
4. If it's valid for your order, the discount applies and your total updates.
5. Confirm your address and pay.

What can affect whether a code works

• Wrong store — codes only work on the store that created them.
• Minimum order — some codes only kick in once your subtotal hits a threshold.
• Usage limits — the code may be one-per-buyer or capped in total uses.
• Expired — the code has passed its end date.
• Typo — codes are usually case-insensitive but every character has to match.

Where discount codes come from

Stores create their own codes and share them through their store page, in the order chat with past buyers, in their marketing campaigns, or on their social media. Javern doesn't email you generic discount codes.
