How does shipping work?
How does shipping work — quick answer with steps and helpful context for Javern users.
Overview
Every store on Javern handles its own shipping. That means the store decides which delivery options they offer, how much each one costs, which courier picks it up, and where they can deliver to. There isn't one central Javern delivery service — the store you buy from is the one shipping to you.
What this looks like at checkout
- When you check out a store's cart, you pick from the shipping options that store has set up (for example, "Standard" or "Express").
- The shipping cost is added to your total.
- You confirm the delivery address and pay.
Each store you buy from goes through this separately — see How do I buy from multiple stores?.
What happens after you pay
- Payment Received — we confirm your payment instantly and notify the store.
- Awaiting Vendors Approval — the store has up to 72 hours to accept the order.
- Accepted / Order Processing — the store packs your order and hands it to their courier.
- Shipped / Out for Delivery — the parcel is on the way.
- Order Completed — it's delivered.
Getting an ETA or tracking info
Because the store books its own courier, they're the best source for tracking or delivery updates. Once they accept your order, a chat opens automatically — message them for a tracking number or ETA. See How do I contact my seller?.
