Why was my order cancelled?
Why was my order cancelled — quick answer with steps and helpful context for Javern users.
Overview
There are three reasons an order gets cancelled on Javern: you cancelled it, the store rejected it, or it auto-cancelled after 72 hours because the store didn't accept in time. In all three cases, your items go back into stock and any money you paid is refunded.
Reasons for cancellation
The store rejected the order
Sometimes a store can't fulfil an order — the item is out of stock, they can't deliver to your address, or something else came up. The order status will show "Rejected By Vendor".
- Full refund credited to your Javern Wallet immediately.
72-hour auto-cancellation
If a store doesn't accept or reject your order within 72 hours of payment, the order is automatically cancelled.
- Full amount credited to your Javern Wallet immediately.
- Items go back into stock and you're notified by email and push.
You cancelled the order
You can cancel yourself while the order is still "Pending Payment" — before your payment lands. No money has moved, so there's nothing to refund. See Can I cancel before shipping?.
Where's my refund?
- Wallet refunds are instant. Check your Javern Wallet balance.
If a refund is missing, see Where is my refund? or contact support.
Re-ordering
Nothing stops you from placing the order again — either with the same store or a different one selling the same product.
