Why is my order pending?

Why is my order pending — quick answer with steps and helpful context for Javern users.

Updated 31 July 2026

Overview

"Pending" usually means one of two things: your payment hasn't been confirmed yet, or the store hasn't accepted the order yet. Both are normal parts of the order flow.

Pending Payment

Your order was created but your payment hasn't gone through. If you paid by card or wallet this should clear in seconds — pull down to refresh "My Orders". If you cancelled or closed the payment page mid-way, you can either complete the payment again or cancel the order.

Awaiting Vendors Approval

Payment is in but the store hasn't accepted the order yet. Stores have up to 72 hours to accept or reject. If they don't respond in that time:

  • The order is automatically cancelled.
  • The full amount is refunded to your Javern Wallet.
  • The items go back into stock.
  • You'll get an email and push notification.

You'll be notified as soon as the store accepts, and the order chat will open at that point.

When to reach out

  • Payment status hasn't updated after 30 minutes — contact support with your order ID.
  • Awaiting Vendors Approval for a long time and you'd like to chase the store — contact support and we'll try to reach them.
