Shipping Policy

How shipping and delivery work on Javern — set and managed by each Vendor.

Updated 31 July 2026

Effective date: 2026-07-31

Shipping on Javern is handled by each Vendor. Javern does not operate its own courier service and does not restrict which locations Vendors deliver to. This policy sets out the framework Vendors work within.

1. Who handles shipping

  • Each Vendor sets its own shipping options, prices, coverage, and courier.
  • Vendors pack their own orders and hand parcels off to their chosen courier.
  • Javern facilitates the transaction and communication — not the delivery.

2. Shipping options and prices

  • At checkout, Buyers pick from the shipping options the Vendor has set up (for example, "Standard" or "Express") and see the price for each.
  • Shipping is priced by the Vendor. Prices vary by distance, size, speed, and courier.
  • Free-shipping options are at the Vendor's discretion — where available, they'll show at checkout.

3. Delivery times

Delivery times vary by Vendor. Rough guidance only:

  • Same city — often a day or two after shipping.
  • Different city, same country — typically 2–5 days after shipping.
  • Long distance / international — depends on courier and route.

For an accurate ETA on a specific Order, message the Vendor via the order chat once they accept.

4. Multi-Vendor Orders

Each Vendor's cart is a separate Order — each shipped by that Vendor. If you buy from three Vendors, you'll pay three shipping fees and get three parcels.

5. Order status flow

Order status is updated by the Vendor as they progress:

  1. Accepted / Order Processing — Vendor is preparing the parcel.
  2. Shipped — parcel has left the Vendor.
  3. Out for Delivery — parcel is with the final courier for delivery.
  4. Order Completed — delivered and confirmed.

6. Missed delivery

If a Buyer isn't reachable at delivery, the courier may reschedule or return the parcel to the Vendor. Buyers should message the Vendor to arrange a re-attempt. See What if I miss delivery?.

7. Missing or "delivered but not received" parcels

8. International shipping

Some Vendors ship internationally, others don't. Add or confirm your country at checkout — if the Vendor delivers there, their shipping options will show. Any customs duties or import taxes at your end are typically your responsibility unless the Vendor states otherwise. See Do you deliver internationally?.

9. Vendor obligations

  • Publish reasonable shipping options.
  • Ship accepted Orders promptly.
  • Keep Order status accurate — don't mark shipped before it ships or delivered before it arrives.
  • Cooperate with the Buyer on missed or lost deliveries.

Failure to meet these obligations affects Store standing — see the Seller Policy and Account Suspension Policy.
