Overview
Yes. Your Javern Wallet is tied to your Javern account and only accessible when you're signed in. Top-ups and payments run through Paystack, and card details are never stored on Javern in a form we can read.
What we do to keep it safe
- Account sign-in. You need to be signed into your Javern account to see the balance, top up, or pay.
- Paystack for payments. Top-ups and card payments run through Paystack, a PCI-DSS certified provider. Cards aren't stored on Javern in raw form.
- Encrypted in transit. All connections between your device and Javern use HTTPS.
- Wallet history. Every credit and debit is recorded so you can spot anything that doesn't look right.
What you should do
- Use a strong password for your Javern account.
- Don't share your login with anyone.
- Sign out on devices you don't own.
- Check your wallet history after big purchases or refunds to make sure the amounts line up.
If something looks wrong
If a transaction shows in your wallet history that you don't recognise:
- Change your password immediately.
- Contact our support team with the transaction reference and roughly when it happened.
