I can't withdraw.

Fix problems when trying to withdraw from your Javern Vendor Wallet.

Updated 31 July 2026

Overview

Withdrawal issues usually come from one of a few things: BVN not verified, not enough available balance, a bank details mismatch, or a temporary Paystack issue. Here's the checklist.

Vendors with a Javern Wallet

  1. BVN verified? Withdrawals require a verified BVN. See How do I verify my BVN?.
  2. Enough available balance? You need available balance ≥ amount + ₦10 (₦10 is the flat withdrawal fee). Locked balance can't be withdrawn.
  3. Correct bank details? Check the account number and bank you're entering.
  4. Name match? Paystack checks that the account name matches your BVN. If they don't, the transfer will fail.
  5. Try again. Temporary Paystack outages happen. Wait a few minutes and retry.

Vendors on the legacy setup (no Javern Wallet yet)

  1. Do you have a saved bank account? Legacy withdrawals need one. Add one in your dashboard.
  2. Is the balance in "withdrawable"? Pending balance can't be withdrawn until the buyer confirms delivery.
  3. Consider activating your Javern Wallet. Verify your BVN to migrate your balances into the wallet and skip the pending step going forward.

Common error messages

  • "Insufficient balance" — you don't have enough available balance to cover the amount plus the ₦10 fee.
  • "BVN not verified" — complete BVN verification first.
  • "Bank details invalid" — double-check account number and bank code, and use the "Resolve" step to validate.
  • "Transfer failed" — usually a Paystack-side issue. Retry after a few minutes.
