How do seller promotions work?

Overview

Sellers on Javern have a few free tools for promoting their store and running discounts — coupons, marketing campaigns, and store follows. All of them live inside the Javern Vendor app; there's no paid ads system on Javern right now.

Tools available to sellers

Coupons

Create a discount code buyers can redeem at checkout. Pick percentage or fixed amount, set a minimum order, cap the maximum discount, and choose a date range or usage limit. See How do I create coupons?.

Marketing campaigns

Send promotional messages to your followers and past customers from the Javern Vendor app. Great for launching a new drop, running a limited-time discount, or announcing store updates. See How do marketing campaigns work?.

Store follows

Buyers who follow your store get notifications when you go live, when you drop new products, and when stock is running low on items they may want. Growing your follower count is one of the best long-term promo tools on Javern. See How do store follows work?.

Featured stores (curated by Javern)

The Javern home page has a featured store slider and an article slider. Both are free and editorial — if we like what your store is doing, we'll spotlight you or publish a write-up about your brand at no cost. See How do featured stores work? for how to be considered.

What Javern doesn't have (yet)

• No paid advertising or sponsored placements you can buy directly.
• No dedicated flash-sale feature — but you can create a time-limited coupon to run the same idea.

Best practices

• Combine tools — pair a marketing campaign with a coupon code so the audience has a reason to act.
• Set usage limits and expiry dates so promos have urgency.
• Keep your store page tidy — good photos, clear description, live policies — so promo traffic converts.
