How do returns work?
How do returns work — quick answer with steps and helpful context for Javern users.
Overview
Returns on Javern are handled directly between you and the store. You raise the issue in the order chat, agree how the return will happen (return the item for a full refund, keep it for a partial refund, or swap for a replacement), and the store issues the refund to your Javern Wallet.
Step by step
- Message the store. Open the order in "My Orders", tap the chat icon, and describe what's wrong. Attach a photo if you can.
- Agree the outcome. The store will let you know what they can do — return and full refund, partial refund, or replacement.
- Return the item if the store asked you to. Use a courier with tracking and share the tracking number in the chat so the store can watch for it.
- Refund lands in your Javern Wallet once the store approves it — usually the moment they confirm they've received the item (or the moment they approve a keep-and-partial-refund).
What each store covers
Each store on Javern sets its own return policy — the window, the conditions, and what's not returnable. You can find their policy on their store page. Common return windows are 3–14 days after delivery.
What if we can't agree?
If the store isn't replying or the two of you can't agree, contact our support team with your order ID, photos, and a summary of the chat. Support will mediate — see What if the seller rejects my return?.
