How do I verify my identity?

Overview

Identity verification on Javern runs through your BVN and Paystack. It's what activates your vendor wallet and lets you receive payouts to your bank account.

Verify your identity

1. Open the Javern Vendor app and sign in.
2. Go to your vendor dashboard.
3. Tap "Javern Wallet".
4. Enter your BVN and your date of birth.
5. Follow the Paystack verification steps.

Once your BVN is verified, your vendor wallet is activated and you get a dedicated virtual account for deposits and payouts.

What matters

• The name and date of birth on your Javern account should match what your bank has on record for your BVN.
• Your bank account name should match your BVN name — Paystack uses this when you withdraw.

If verification fails

• Double-check what you entered.
• Update your profile so it matches your BVN — see How do I set up my profile?.
• Try again. If it keeps failing, contact our support team with the error message.
