How do I change my password?

Overview

Changing your password goes through the "Forgot password" flow on the sign-in page — there's no in-account settings page for it. You'll enter your email, get a reset link, and pick a new password.

Change your password

1. Open the Javern App or Javern and go to the sign-in page.
2. If you're signed in, sign out first.
3. Tap "Forgot password".
4. Enter the email address on your Javern account and submit.
5. Open the reset email we send and tap the link.
6. Set your new password and confirm.
7. Sign in with the new password.

Password tips

• At least 8 characters. Longer is better.
• Mix letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Don't reuse a password you use anywhere else.
• Consider a password manager — it's the easiest way to keep unique passwords everywhere.

Reset link didn't arrive?

• Check your spam / junk folder.
• Make sure you used the email address on your Javern account.
• Wait a couple of minutes and try again.
• If it still doesn't arrive, contact support with the email address on your account.
