How do I change my bank account?
How do I change my bank account — quick answer with steps and helpful context for Javern users.
Updated 31 July 2026
Overview
Bank accounts on Javern are for vendors, since only vendors receive payouts. How you manage them depends on your payout setup: legacy vendors save accounts in the dashboard; Javern Wallet vendors just enter the account at withdrawal time.
Legacy setup (no Javern Wallet yet)
- Open the Javern Vendor app and sign in.
- Go to your vendor dashboard.
- Tap "Wallet" → "Bank Accounts".
- Add a new bank account, edit, or remove an existing one.
- When you withdraw, pick which saved account it should go to.
You can save up to 3 accounts.
Javern Wallet setup
There's nothing to save. Each withdrawal, you enter the account number, pick the bank, and confirm.
Good to know
- The account name must match your BVN name — Paystack rejects transfers to accounts that don't match.
- Only Nigerian bank accounts are supported.
- Withdrawals already in flight go to whichever account was chosen at the time.
For buyers
Javern doesn't ask buyers to add a bank account. You pay by card or bank transfer via Paystack, or with your Javern Wallet balance.
