Can I exchange instead of refund?

Overview

Exchanges aren't built into Javern as a separate flow — but you can arrange one directly with the store. Message them in the order chat and ask about swapping for a different size, colour, or item.

How to ask for an exchange

1. Open the order in "My Orders" and tap the chat icon.
2. Tell the store what you'd like to exchange the item for (size, colour, or a different product from their store).
3. Send a photo of the item you received so they can see its condition.
4. Agree how the swap will work — return the original, ship the replacement.

What each store does

Every store sets its own exchange rules. Some are happy to swap sizes freely, others prefer refund + new order. If a store won't do an exchange, they'll usually offer a refund instead — you can then place a new order with the correct item.

Refund + re-order

If an exchange isn't possible, the simplest path is:

1. Get a full refund to your Javern Wallet.
2. Place a new order using your wallet balance for the item you actually want.
